Percy
Percy was one of the very first horses at what would become Harmony Stables C.I.C, witnessing its beginnings from the very start. From the moment he began his ridden life, he earned his name as our dependable “steady eddy.”
In 2021, Percy survived a serious colic and emergency surgery thanks to quick action and the incredible support of our community. Since then, he has continued to thrive, helping children build confidence as a trusted lead-rein pony and familiar face at events.
Percy is more than a horse — he is our logo, our mascot, and our heart. Gentle, reliable, and endlessly kind, he truly is worth his weight in gold.

Fleur
Fleur came to us from the wild in South Wales and was tamed here at Harmony Stables. She has grown into a gentle, clever, and brave little riding pony. She teaches young riders, competes in shows and showjumping, and loves adventures — including beach rides and pony parties! Our Fleurtatious unicorn truly brings magic wherever she goes. She has struggled with her hoof conformation and her flared ribcage which causes her saddle fitting trouble and much needed physio.

Roo
After many attempts to rehabilitate, Roo was once considered too compromised to ride, living as a field companion after years of pain and injury. But when given time, patience, and a whole-body approach to rehabilitation, she told us she wasn’t finished yet.
Through careful, holistic rehab focusing on posture, straightness, and core strength, Roo returned to ridden work in 2025 — calmly completing her first hacks in two years. She is living proof that when we listen to the horse, not just the diagnosis, they can surprise us all

Hermione
Hermione came to Harmony in 2021 a little nervous and thin, but with patience and love she’s grown into a confident, caring mare. She underwent many veterinary investigations, from ulcer scopes, to fertility scans, to lameness examinations, she's required a lot of physio and saddle fitting to get her to being comfortable. From her first inland shows to taking her part-loaner to Best Riding Pony. Hermione, although not the most straight forward of mares, always looks after her riders and gives her whole heart.

June
A gentle, quirky little mare who arrived at Harmony with very little life experience and a whole lot of heart. She’s taken huge steps this year — from learning groundwork to finding confidence hacking out and even tackling her first pole clinic!
We manage June's CPL, head shaking syndrome, downhill conformation and stifle stiffness.

Buttercup
Newcomers often ask, “Is that a donkey?” Nope – she’s a hogged Shetland! One of the first residents of Harmony Stables, Buttercup has been with us since 2018. Sensitive and particular, she thrives when she bonds with a rider, especially taking care with a non-verbal autistic child. She’s had a mostly non-ridden career and lives rent-free due to COPD, insulin resistance, and other health quirks. Small in size, huge in heart, Buttercup brings her unique magic to every corner of the yard.

Teddy
Teddy joined Harmony Stables in March 2025, after his previous owners’ daughter had outgrown him. Shy, nervous, and struggling with sarcoids, he needed a kind, patient home.
Starting with groundwork and gentle lunging, Teddy built trust, strength, and confidence. He’s overcome weak movement, tack issues, and hoof problems, and now enjoys hacking, hillwork, and even gallops!
Teddy has loved his first canters, his first show, and his first fun ride—especially the jumps! He’s still learning balance and relaxation in the canter, but his curiosity, courage, and love of jumping make him a joy to work with.
With lots more adventures ahead, Teddy’s 2026 promises to be his best year yet!

Blaze
Blaze joined us in June with a medical— a sensible, safe soul with a bit of history and lots of love to give. Charlotte fell for her instantly! We started her on a fitness programme for Camp, and she joined in lessons and Stage 1 rides. After an unexpectedly intense camp, Blaze came back a little lame, so she’s been on groundwork and vet checks to get her back on the mend. Next year, Blaze will enjoy our own Harmony Stables Camp, safe, happy, and ready for fun!

Bea
Bea is a 4-year-old, newly backed mare who joined us in July. She was very green, wobbly, and still finding her confidence.
With gentle hacking, groundwork, and her first poles and cones clinic, Bea is growing stronger, braver, and steadier every day. She’s learning to trust herself and her handlers, and we can’t wait to see her continue to shine! She is a long way off sessions in the school due to her green-ness, hormonal fluctuations and nervousness under saddle.

Rosie
Rosie may be the smallest pony at Harmony Stables, but she has one of the biggest personalities. Arriving in 2020, she overcame severe sweet itch through careful management and is now a happy, playful favourite with our tiniest riders.
Cheeky, energetic, and full of sparkle, Rosie shines at events and gymkhanas, bringing joy wherever she goes. Sponsorship helps keep her comfortable, supported, and safely doing what she loves.

Zeus
Zeus didn’t have an easy start. Sent away to be backed without the foundations he needed, he returned worried, unbalanced, and unsure of the world along with locking stifle. Everyday things felt frightening, and his body struggled too.
Through patient, consistent training, Zeus learned to trust. He gained strength, balance, and confidence, eventually competing in dressage, show jumping, and arena eventing. What began as a rehabilitation journey became something unexpected — Zeus grew into a calm, reliable schoolmaster.
Today, Zeus helps riders build confidence and reach their first milestones.

Luna
When Luna arrived at Harmony Stables, what first looked like “behaviour” quickly revealed itself to be pain and fear. Tense, anxious, and defensive, she was struggling to feel safe in her own body.
Through careful investigation, Luna was diagnosed with a hock ligament injury and back pain. With welfare-first care, patience, and correct handling, she began a slow rehabilitation — learning to relax, move comfortably, and trust again.
Today, Luna is a safe, honest, and capable pony who forms deep partnerships with her riders. She is sensitive, communicative, and thrives when listened to. Her sponsorship supports her ongoing comfort, skin care, groundwork, and training, helping her continue her journey toward confidence and long-term wellbeing.

JJ
JJ joined us in April as a very nervous, very tiny pony — smaller and greener than expected, but instantly loved by Connie. He arrived unsure of traffic, worried to mount, and even had a hoof infection to sort.
With patience, he’s grown braver every week. He went to his first show in August and came home with rosettes, has started jumping confidently, and even gave Connie her first no-stirrups canter. He may be little, but his journey — and his heart — are huge.

Finny
Abandoned as a youngster, Finny (aka Phoenix) arrived at Harmony in 2019 nervous and high-energy, having never known calm or gentle handling. Deena helped him heal, and over the years he’s grown into a sweet, reliable pony.
Finny has taught his first part-loaner, Connie, her first jumps, first shows, and first canters, and he’s even been broken to drive. Recently, he’s been adjusting to losing sight in one eye, but he still enjoys life with his mini-herd friends and loves being part of lessons.

Boo
Boo arrived at Harmony in 2023 with a tough start in life — a very young mum, weak gait, poor conformation, sarcoids and no training. She’s worked hard on groundwork, hacking, and pole exercises and continues to build strength and balance after a stifle injury. Boo is a pony who teaches patience, resilience, and careful horsemanship, and sponsorship helps give her the specialist care she needs to thrive.

Casey
Casey arrived at Harmony Stables C.I.C in 2022 as a young, frightened pony who didn’t yet understand the world. With patience, kindness, and time, she learned to trust and grew into a calm, reliable little schoolmistress for our young riders.
Casey lives with Chronic Progressive Lymphedema (CPL) and requires daily specialist care, along with a sensitive tummy management plan and regular comfort checks. Thanks to ongoing support, she continues to thrive and help children build confidence.

Dolly
Dolly is a 15.3hh cob with a heart of gold. She was found in 2021, overweight and uncomfortable, after her owner became terminally ill. With careful management, weight loss (over 100kg!), and lots of kindness and polwork and Harmony, Dolly found better balance and strength pulling her cart for Andrew, a disabled young man who adores her at her more permanent residence.
Now part of Harmony’s weekend lessons, Dolly helps riders grow while continuing her own journey—learning pole work, building strength, and always taking care of her people.

Digger
Once a successful racehorse, Digger struggled with pain, anxiety and was close to being written off. Instead of quick fixes, we gave him time, patience, and careful rehab instead of invasive surgery. Today, he’s much more comfortable, confident, and back doing what he loves. He is learning the way of dressage and showjumping, and starting to settle into competition environments

Jammy
Jammy arrived at Harmony Stables in 2022 as a very raw three-year-old, still growing and learning about the world. Underweight and inexperienced, he needed time, understanding, and the right care to feel comfortable.
After treatment for gastric ulcers, Jammy truly began to thrive. Opinionated but honest, he has grown into a wonderful teacher for his young rider, progressing steadily in his schooling and jumping.
From junior camps and dressage to farm rides and shows, Jammy’s journey has been built on patience, empathy, and doing things right. With 2026 ahead of him, his future is bright.
