We are currently on the hunt for funding and volunteers to help us to organise these projects! Harmony Stables is determined to expand our services and to find more ways to benefit our community.

Track System
Probably one of our longest running goals has been to get grant funding to build a track system around our field. As our Harmony Pony population has increased, as has the rainfall this winter. A track system would mean we could add to our list of services as well as improve the welfare for our ponies.
Access Project
We are looking for someone to help us gain access over to our other grazing field which will get our ponies off the busy roads and mean we can offer trekking as a service for our clients!

Update 01/12/25: We are making progress and hopefully will be able to offer Harmony hacking as of April 2026
Become a BHS Accredited Centre
We want to be able to offer BHS training to our clients. We will therefore wish to contribute to their 'Changing Lives Through Horses' Programme

Update 01/12/25: We have managed to gain enough qualifications to offer BHS Stage 1 and Stage 2 training
Become a Pony Club Centre
Harmony Stables would be able to potentially offer Pony Club camps, training and badges if we could become a Pony Club centre

We have made a valuable connection with Think Like a Pony Club who have developed their own badge system. So although not specifically the Pony Club, we are looking into more accessible alternatives.
Dual Purpose Sand Paddock
We need someone to help us organise and apply for grants for another build. This sand paddock would be able to be used for lunging, turnout as well as allowing us to teach more than one lesson at a time

Update 01/12/25: We have the foundations of the sand paddock created. All in good time and hopefully with more funds
Enrichment areas
We need ideas for enrichment activities on the track system, someone to work out the costings for the materials and labour, then help us to either apply for funding or sponsor the project.
Open Day 2027
We are in the process of applying for a grant to make this our biggest event yet! Filled with pony demos, music, information and much more!
3rd August 2025
Update 01/12/25: We would love to do a summer community day, however when we apply for grants, they say that because the community don't request it, that it doesn't benefit the community. We need more feedback.
Cross Country Course
In order for Harmony Stables to provide cross-country lessons, we need to have a permanent, structured cross country course. We need helpers to design, tally up costings and apply for funding.
